Wiper Blades

Beginner 5 min ~£20-30

Standard J-hook or push-button fittings on most modern cars. The biggest job is identifying the correct length, your handbook or any auto-parts website's number-plate lookup will tell you. Bosch Aerotwin is the quality benchmark.

Pro tips
·

Lay a folded towel on the windscreen, protects the glass if the wiper arm snaps back.

·

Bosch Aerotwin or Valeo Silencio give the best wipe quality. Cheap blades streak within weeks.

·

Don't forget the rear wiper, it's usually a different length and fitting.

·

Look up your car on Halfords, Eurocarparts or your supplier's website by reg number, they'll list the exact sizes.

Step by step
01

Look up your front and rear wiper sizes by reg number on any auto-parts site
